With a high point of about 700 feet above its base elevation, Spirit Mountain Ski Resort features one of the state's tallest ski hills. Its 175 acres present wondrous challenges to the daring skiers and snowboarders, including 50-foot jumps, a halfpipe, numerous rails and more. Camping, mountain biking and banquet options can also be found at the resort, which lies a few miles southwest of downtown, near Norton Park.
